Shree Hanshdevgiri Bapu Pravachan and Bhajans

BSNL Trustees and BSNL Elders Group are hosting Shree Hanshdevgiri Bapu's pravachan and bhajan evening on Friday 3rd September from 7.30 pm to 11.30 pm at BSNL House.

Shree Hanshdevgiri Bapu is an eminent Swami from India who was gifted with “Shivmahapuran Scripture” by his guru when he was quite young and today he recites ‘Shivmahapuran Scripiture’ for the spiritual development of society. He has adopted Yog-Sadhana and Meditation as his way of life. He has his Ashram in Navagam, Jamnagar district. Shree Hanshdevgiri Bapu has recited Shivmahapuran katha in many locations including Saurashtra, Kutch, Somnath, Rameswaram, Mahakaleswar, Kedarnath, Kailash Mansarovar (Nepal) as well as in Nairobi and Mombasa in East Africa and last year in London (some of you may have seen this katha on Astha TV). Through his profound knowledge and engaging delivery, he has earned his name and fame as an ‘International Shiv Kathakar’.

BSNL is Celebrating 35 Years

As you are all aware from our previous news update that we are celebrating our BSNL's 35 Glorious years of existence. This has been a tremendous achievement to our Samaj. We all need to cast our mind to past 35 years & just reflect upon all the sterling class efforts our past Presidents & the com-mittee have put in over the years. To Honour this auspicious occasion we are hosting A grand & spectacular cultural show in September. I am sure we have some extraordinary & amazing talents in our society so please come forward & ring one of our convenors to express your interest for this extravaganza. Auditions to take place in first week of August, so please do not miss out on this great opportunity.

Type 2 Diabetes Study within Gujarati Population

A Masters student at University College London is and am conducting a
research project about the provision of family support and its effect on
self-management behaviours and glycaemic control in people with type 2
diabetes amongst the Gujarati population.
