Agenda

The Draft constitution can be downloaded below and will be discussed and voted at the AGM on 15th January 2012.

The main reason being, The Charity Commission Guidelines and requirements have changed substantially since the original constitution was drafted with a fundamental change initiated in 2006 which clarified the position with regard to the role of Trustees and the governance of a charity. The proposed structure now reflects how the Charity Commission would see best practice adopted. Clearly the fact that the BSNL has not changed the constitution in line with legal and regulatory requirements has meant that from and internal and an external perspective, there is an anomaly with regard to the governance structure. The revised draft aims to correct this anomaly and also pave the way for a much more robust framework to be instituted.

Valentine Ball Reviews

Review by Millie

The Valentines ball organised by young Brahmins Association was fabulous. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly faces and the champagne reception gave everybody a chance to mingle. The décor was very much in team with romance and valentines and the whole atmosphere oozed with happy vibes and laughs. The food was lovely and if I had more room in my stomach, I would have had more. A good selection of music for every taste which made me want to stay on the dance floor the whole night and the photographers done a very good job as well. Overall it was really enjoyable, a wonderful night!!
